Pushover Integration

Overview

The Pushover integration allows you to receive Onagre alert notifications as push notifications on your mobile devices and desktop. When a sensor triggers an alert, Onagre sends a notification through the Pushover API, so you can be alerted even when you are away from your desk.

Subscription

This integration requires a Pro subscription or higher.

Prerequisites

Before configuring this integration, you need a Pushover account and a registered application:

  1. Create an account at pushover.net and install the Pushover app on your device.
  2. Note your User Key from the Pushover dashboard.
  3. Create a new application in Pushover (e.g. "Onagre") and note the Application Token.

Configuration Options

  • Name (required): A unique name to identify this integration, e.g. Pushover Mobile.
  • User Key (required): Your Pushover user key, found on the Pushover dashboard.
  • Application Token (required): The API token for your Pushover application.
  • Priority (required): The notification priority level, from -2 (lowest) to 2 (emergency). Use 0 for normal priority.

How It Works

When an alert fires, Onagre sends a request to the Pushover API with the alert details, your user key, application token, and the configured priority. Pushover then delivers the notification to all devices linked to your account.
