Pushover Integration
The Pushover integration allows you to send real-time alerts directly to your mobile, tablet, or desktop devices. This can be particularly useful for critical monitoring, where immediate awareness of issues is essential.
Pushover App
The Pushover mobile and desktop applications require a one-time purchase after a short free trial. Be sure to review Pushover’s pricing before enabling the integration for production usage.
Prerequisites
- You must have a Pushover account. You can create one at https://pushover.net.
- Once registered, you’ll receive a User Key, which uniquely identifies you as a recipient.

Create a Pushover Application
To send notifications, you need to register an application within your Pushover account:
- Go to your Pushover dashboard.
- Create a new application.
- Copy the generated API Token — you’ll need it to configure the integration in Onagre.

Configuration in Onagre
To enable the integration:
- Navigate to the Settings > Integrations section in your Onagre workspace.
- Select Pushover.
- Paste your User key and the Application token of your Pushover application.
- Save the integration.

Once saved, Onagre will use this integration to send you alerts whenever a sensor enters a failing state or recovers — but only if the integration is enabled on the sensor that changes state.
How Notifications Work
Whenever a sensor detects a problem, a notification will be sent to all your registered devices via Pushover. These alerts include:
- The sensor name and description
- The current status (e.g., Down, Recovered)
- Timestamps and other contextual information to help you investigate quickly
