Microsoft Teams Integration
Overview
The Microsoft Teams integration allows you to receive Onagre alert notifications directly in a Teams channel. When a sensor triggers an alert, Onagre sends a message to the configured Teams incoming webhook, keeping your team informed in real time.
Subscription
This integration requires a Pro subscription or higher.
Prerequisites
Before configuring this integration, you need to create an incoming webhook in your Teams channel:
- Open Microsoft Teams and navigate to the target channel.
- Click the ... menu next to the channel name, then select Connectors (or Manage channel > Connectors).
- Find Incoming Webhook and click Configure.
- Give the webhook a name (e.g. "Onagre Alerts") and optionally upload an icon.
- Copy the Webhook URL — you will need it in the next step.
For more details, see the Microsoft Teams incoming webhook documentation.
Configuration Options
- Name (required): A unique name to identify this integration, e.g.
Teams #ops-alerts. - Webhook URL (required): The Teams webhook URL. It must match the pattern
https://*.webhook.office.com/....
How It Works
When an alert fires, Onagre sends an HTTP POST request to the Teams webhook URL with a formatted message containing the alert details. The message appears in the linked Teams channel as a connector card.
Summary
The Microsoft Teams integration lets you route Onagre alerts into your team's Teams channels. Set up an incoming webhook connector, paste the URL into Onagre, and you are ready to receive notifications.
