Native Mobile App

Overview

The Onagre native mobile app lets you monitor your incidents and receive push notifications directly on your phone — wherever you are. When a sensor triggers an alert, you get an instant notification and can acknowledge the incident without opening a browser.

The app is currently available for Android.

Features

Push notifications

Receive real-time push notifications when an incident is triggered on any of your sensors. Notifications are delivered instantly via Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM), even when the app is in the background or closed.

Each notification includes the sensor name, incident severity, and a direct link to the incident details.

Incident dashboard

The app displays your current incident overview:

  • Active incidents — problems currently happening.
  • Acknowledged incidents — someone on your team is investigating.
  • Resolved incidents — problems that have been fixed.

Browse incidents with pagination, see severity levels (Critical, Major, Minor, Info), duration tracking, and the sensor that triggered the alert.

Acknowledge from mobile

When an incident fires, you can acknowledge it directly from the app — signaling to your team that someone is looking into it. Add a comment to describe the actions you are taking or planning.

Getting started

1. Install the app

Download the Onagre app from the Google Play Store:

Get it on Google Play

2. Sign in

Open the app and sign in with your Onagre account credentials (email and password). The app uses the same authentication as the web platform.

3. Allow notifications

On first launch, the app will request permission to send push notifications. Accept to receive real-time alerts. On Android 13 and above, you can manage this later in your device notification settings.

4. Automatic setup

Once signed in, the app automatically registers your device with the Onagre platform. A Native integration is created in your account — you do not need to configure anything manually.

Your device will appear as a Native integration in Settings → Integrations on the web platform. You can attach it to sensor alert rules like any other integration.

How it works

  1. You sign in → the app registers your device with the Onagre platform.
  2. When a sensor triggers an incident, the Hub sends a push notification to your device via FCM.
  3. You receive the notification instantly, even with the app closed.
  4. Open the notification to see incident details, severity, and duration.
  5. Acknowledge the incident and add a comment — your team sees it in real time on the web platform.

What the app does not do

The native app is focused on incident awareness and response. For full platform management (creating sensors, configuring services, managing environments), use the web dashboard at app.onagre.io.
